Community Foundation of Warren County Contributions & Grants
The Community Foundation received $154,645.15 in contributions from these generous donors in the month of July to the following funds held by the Community Foundation:
Alice and David Engle Erie Shriners Children Memorial Fund – Alice Engle. Be the Light Scholarship Fund – WAHS Class of 2026. Barbara Ann Parker Summer Music School Fund – Shirley Crone Executor, Barbara Parker Estate. Crary Home –The Crary Home. Debra Anderson Furry Friends Fund – Debra Anderson. Ellie and Wayne Rico Taylor Memorial Scholarship – Ellie Taylor. Greg Burkett Charitable Fund – Greg Burkett. Kids in Need – American Legion Post 135, Cameron Energy Company, David and Dena Pearson, Knox McLaughlin Gornall and Sennett P.C, Rocket Automation, Shults Management Group LLC, Usherwood Office Technology, Warren County School District, Warren Moose Lodge. Larry Himes Memorial Scholarship – Barnhart Davis Co/NAPA Auto, Daniel Johnson, Dean Summer, Kinzua Limited, Michael Donaldson, Pamela Martin, Pierre Constantin, Quinton Oaks Golf, Seneca Generation LLC, Shaffer’s Shooting Supplies INC., Susan Himes. Mary Emily and William S. Allen Fund – William S. Allen. Sophia Richards Nursing Scholarship Fund – Dr. Andrea Richard. Southwell Memorial Scholarship Fund – Bonnie Reynolds. Trevor Chambers Memorial Scholarship Fund – Don and Helen Chambers, John Webber.
The Community Foundation’s Board of Directors approved grants totaling $242,434 in August to the following charitable causes serving Warren County residents:
BSA Chief Cornplanter Council Camperships, City of Warren – DeFrees Bells, Hospice of Warren County Technology Upgrades, K-9 Fund, Make-A-Wish Foundation, ROY – Revitalization of Youngsville, Struthers Library Theatre, Warren County Fair Projects, Warren County Summer Music School, WCDA Warren Worx.
The Community Foundation’s Board of Directors also approved Non-traditional Workforce Development Scholarships totaling $7950 in August from the Richard McKissock Scholarship Fund, and the Community Foundation Non-Traditional Scholarship Program. The Warren County residents awarded these scholarships are pursuing degrees, training or certifications for Marketing, Nursing, and healthcare to further their careers and employability here in Warren County.
