The Community Foundation received $18,000 in contributions from these generous donors in the month of March to the following funds held by the Community Foundation: AnneBelle Bollinger Scholarship Fund – Calvin & Cheryl Mealey, Randy Gorske. Debra Anderson Furry Friends Fund – Debra Anderson. Hanna Family Charitable Fund – Christof Schoenborn. K-9 Fund – Mary Conarro. Kids In Need Fund – Amvets Post 50 of Sugar Grove. Louise Mangus Art Therapy fbo Family Services – CFWC In memory of Nicholas Mangus. Martin Family Football Scholarship Fund – Frederick & Debra Martin. Mary Edwards Conarro Nursing Scholarship – Mary Ann and Jeffrey Carlson, Alec and Karen Conarro. Mary Emily, and William S. Allen Fund – William S. Allen. Paula Southwell Memorial Scholarship Fund – James and Jean Scott in memory of R. William Holder, Howard and Shirley Carlson in memory of R. William Holder, Johnsons Tire Service in memory of R. William Holder, Daniel & Sally McCue in memory of R. William Holder. Tidioute Area Community Fund – Michael McEntire. Trevor Chambers Memorial Scholarship Fund – Donald and Helen Chambers.
The Community Foundation’s Board of Directors approved grants totaling $54,819 in April to the following charitable causes serving Warren County residents:
City of Warren Heritage Mural, Eisenhower High School Bandtastic Boosters DC Veterans Parade Trip, Kane District Ramp Ministry, Kids In Need Fund, Mary Edwards Conarro Nursing Scholarship Fund, Tidioute Health and Dental Center, and the Warren Players Club.
The Community Foundation’s Board of Directors also approved Richard McKissock Non-traditional Workforce Development Scholarships totaling $5,000 in April. The Warren County residents awarded these scholarships are pursuing degrees, training or certifications in Health Services to further their careers and employability here in Warren County.
