The Community Foundation of Warren County is pleased to announce that Timothy Huber has been elected as the new Chairman, succeeding John Hanna. Mr. Hanna, who has led the Community Foundation with distinction for the past 38 years, will continue to serve as a Board member.

In a statement, Mr. Hanna praised Huber’s leadership and dedication, saying, “Tim’s strong commitment to the community is evidenced by the time he has dedicated to serving on numerous community non-profit boards.  His leadership ability has been proven by the fact he has been called to serve as Chairman on many of the Boards he has served on such as Warren General Hospital, the Warren County YMCA, the Rouse Estate, the City of Warren Redevelopment Authority, and the Warren County Industrial Development Authority, among others.  I am confident that under his guidance, the Community Foundation will continue to grow and increase its ability to impact the quality of life in Warren County.”

Mark King, Executive Director of the Foundation, added, “I have known Tim and his family for many years and am excited to collaborate with him in his new role. Tim’s extensive experience in business and non-profit sectors is incredibly valuable.  It is particularly gratifying to see him continue his family’s legacy of service, following in the footsteps of his father, Jerry Huber, who devoted over 60 years of his life to the Community Foundation as Executive Director, Board member and now a Director Emeritus.”

Huber expressed his gratitude for the Board’s support and acknowledged Hanna’s long-standing contributions: “I am deeply honored by the Board’s trust in me and look forward to guiding the Foundation. I want to extend my sincere thanks to John Hanna for his remarkable 38 years of service as Chairman of the Board.  His leadership has been instrumental in the Foundation’s success, and I am glad that he will remain involved as a Board member.”

Huber is committed to advancing the Foundation’s mission to enhance the quality of life in Warren County through philanthropy.  He invites residents to support the Foundation by contributing to existing funds or establishing a fund of their own.
