Community Foundation of Warren County Contributions & Grants

The Community Foundation received $52,297.97 in contributions from these generous donors in the month of August to the following funds held by the Community Foundation:

Debra Anderson Furry Friends Fund – Debra Anderson. K-9 Fund – Turn 5, Inc., Kids In Need Fund – Community Foundation of Warren County, in memory of Murray K. McComas, Warren County School District. Larry Himes Memorial Scholarship Fund – Cash donations from golf event, Cheryl Lawson Maple Shade MX, Jackson Valley Golf Outing proceeds, Kinzua Limited. CFWC Operating Fund – Chris and Lana Creal Family Fund. Mary Edwards Conarro Nursing Scholarship – Mary Conarro. Mary-Emily and William S. Allen Fund – William S. Allen. McComas Charitable Fund – Randy and Michele Scalise in memory of Murray K. McComas, Tim and Joan Baker in memory of Murray K. McComas. Pawsitive Support Fund – Cash donation from fundraising event. Warren Athletics Fund – Community Foundation of Warren County in memory of Murray K. McComas. Warren Sports Boosters Michael J. Curren Memorial Scholarship – Veryl Brinkley, Warren Sports Boosters.

The Community Foundation’s Trust Distribution Committee approved grants totaling $58,553 in September to the following charitable causes serving Warren County residents:

Warren County Summer Music School, United Fund of Warren County, WCCBI Warren Worx.

The Community Foundation’s Trust Distribution Committee also approved non-traditional scholarships totaling $6,059 in September for four Warren County residents pursuing training or certifications in healthcare leadership and administration, clinical medical assistant, welding, and commercial driver’s license training to further their careers.

The Community Foundation’s Corporate Board of Directors approved donor-advised disbursements of income totaling $27,369.86 in September to the following charitable causes:

Kids In Need Fund, Warren Sports Boosters, North Warren Volunteer Fire Department, Warren YMCA, United Fund of Warren County, Holy Redeemer Church, First Presbyterian Church.
