Community Foundation of Warren County Monthly Contribution & Grant Report

The Community Foundation received $87,125.05 in contributions from these generous donors in the month of April to the following funds held by the Community Foundation:

Archie F. Brown Fund fbo Sheffield Ecumenical Food Pantry – Patricia Brown, John Check Memorial Scholarship Fund – Laura Alberth, Kids In Need Fund – Kinzua Veterinary Clinic, Deiss & Halmi Engineering, Tidioute Community Charter School, Sugar Grove American Legion Post 758, Mary-Emily and William S. Allen Fund – William S. Allen, Paws Along the River Humane Society Fund – Paws Along the River, Sugar Grove Community Fund – Mark & Chris King in memory of Bud Curtis, United Fund of Warren County Fund, United Way of Bartholomew County, Wright Vocational Scholarship Fund, Phyllis Wright, Marcia Ziki.

The Community Foundation’s Trust Distribution Committee approved grants totaling $60,000 in May to the following charitable causes serving Warren County residents:

Warren County 4th of July Committee, Warren Library Association, Trustees of Struthers Library Building, Warren County Historical Society, Warren General Hospital, Paws Along the River Humane Society, United Fund of Warren County, Russell Volunteer Fire Department.

The Community Foundation’s Trust Distribution Committee also approved non-traditional scholarships totaling $7,500 in May to 3 Warren County residents pursuing additional training or certifications to further their careers.

The Community Foundation’s Corporate Board of Directors approved Donor Advised grants totaling $161,609 in May to the following charitable causes:

Kids In Need Fund, WAHS Robotics Club – VEX World Championship, Robert H. Jackson Living Voices Holocaust Program, Warren Player, Revitalization of Youngsville, Kinzua Youth Development Center, Warren-Forest EOC.
